Don't be fooled by the anti-gunners of Chicago and NW Suburban Cook County Illinois - there are plenty of us ladies and young women here that are active gunowners. Active in shooting, hunting and competitive shooting and a handful of us that are active in the ISRA Grassroots organization to preserve the rights to keep and bear arms FOR ALL - especially women. Some of us like myself have even go as far as to get into local politics to make sure someone is watching our gun ownership rights on the local level.
I'm an active shooter, my daughters have been well trained not only for self-defense but for target and competition shooting as well. I'm an NRA instruction for pistols and self-protection and committee chairman for the local ISRA (Illinois State Rifle Association) grassroots organization.
Any ladies out there in NW suburban Cook Ccounty Illinois that want to get involved, get facts, join the ISRA Women's Committee or learn to shoot, email me at WND45ACP@aol.com - we need more women in this area that are willing to get involved and stand up for our rights. You don't have to know how to handle a gun to believe in your 2nd Amendment Rights - but it you have a gun you must know the safety rules and how to handle it properly or you defeat its purpose. Don't drive drunk and don't handle a gun untrained.
